A candid home photo of the actress

Actress Ekaterina Vilkova posted a candid home photo on Instagram (owned by Meta, a company recognized as extremist and banned in Russia) showing herself with her 12-year-old son Pyotr on a couch. 'My most beautiful creation,' the actress captioned the shot. Gazeta.Ru reported this.

Family and raising the children

Vilkova and Ilya Lyubimov — familiar to viewers from the TV series 'Don't Be Born Beautiful' — have two children: besides Pyotr, the couple is raising a 14-year-old daughter, Pavla. According to Lyubimov, the children are being raised in the Christian tradition: Pavla and Pyotr regularly take communion together with their parents, but, as the actor emphasized, 'without fanaticism.' He believes that religion should not be imposed on children, and as they grow up they will decide for themselves whether to continue 'communing with God'; in his view, children intuitively understand some religious things better than he does himself.

Married since 2011

Vilkova and Lyubimov married in 2011. The couple said that before the wedding and church ceremony they abstained from intimacy for a year — as the actor said, he, as a religious person, proposed the idea himself, and his wife agreed, never once regretting it. In an interview with Svetlana Bondarchuk, Lyubimov said that in their entire life together there had been only three moments that could be called a conflict.
