Context: major auctions continue in Tashkent
This is not the only notable real estate sale through auction in the capital: Spot previously reported that the MIPT building on Taras Shevchenko street was sold at auction for 287 billion soums. Unlike that deal, the current lot starts at a significantly lower amount and is being sold as part of forced enforcement of a court decision, rather than through an ordinary privatization sale.
