Two dead found in a parked car

In the Nigerian state of Ogun, a man and a woman showing no signs of life were found in a parked Toyota Sienna, local media reported. The car was parked near the NASFAT Islamic Center on the Lagos–Ibadan expressway. The incident sparked a wave of outrage on social media.

What is known about the incident

According to a blogger who filmed the car and the scene, the lifeless bodies had been in the vehicle for about two days. He also claimed that the couple had been having sex before death. However, the circumstances and cause of the incident remain undetermined — the blogger's claims remain unverified reports rather than conclusions of the investigation.

Context of other reports

Gazeta.Ru previously separately wrote about a conflict in Vietnam, where a man started a fight after catching a woman cheating in a car: the footage shows him opening the car door and talking to the couple inside, and the videos gained many views and caused a public outcry. The outlet also reported on an incident in Chelyabinsk, where a migrant killed a woman and set the apartment on fire with her inside. These cases are united in the publications only by a common theme and are not connected to the car found in Nigeria.
