Top stylist of the Gold Manhattan beauty salon Khamidulla Azimov told Gazeta.Ruwhich haircuts help soften facial features and make the face look visually younger. According to him, shapes with soft lines, light layers and natural volume work best: the elongated bob, the layered bob (multi-layered carré) and the soft cascade. Such haircuts, in the expert's opinion, add movement to the hair and help balance the oval of the face.

Azimov emphasized that when choosing a haircut, the main thing is to take into account the shape of the face, hair structure and individual features of one's appearance. He applied the same rule to choosing bangs: it is important to look at hair density, structure and growth direction. For a round face he recommends elongated and angled options, for a square face — soft and textured ones, for an elongated face — denser and straighter ones. Fine hair suits a light fringe, thick hair — a fuller one, and for curly hair one needs to take into account the natural shape of the curl. The stylist called the elongated curtain bangs a universal option: they frame the face and do not require complicated styling.
