Three attacks on transport in a single day
At least seven people were killed and 14 wounded in attacks on transport in the Russia-controlled part of Luhansk region, the Moscow-installed authorities of the region reported on November 5. This was reported by the Anadolu agency citing Leonid Pasechnik, the head of the region installed by the Russian authorities, who posted messages on the Russian social platform Max.
Casualty figures for each incident
Pasechnik said that on Thursday morning Ukrainian forces attacked a bus on the road between the settlement of Petrovka and the regional center Luhansk. 'According to preliminary data, five people were killed and 13 wounded in this terrible strike. Among the wounded are two teenagers aged 15 and 17,' Anadolu quotes him as saying; according to the regional head, all the wounded are receiving the necessary medical care. In a second incident, according to him, a strike on a van on the road between Rebrokovo and Rovenky killed two people. In the third, in the city of Alchevsk, a 38-year-old man who was in a minibus was wounded. Pasechnik added that those responsible 'will inevitably face deserved punishment.'
What remains unclear
Ukrainian authorities, as Anadolu notes, did not comment on these incidents. All the casualty figures and details of the strikes cited come from one side — the Moscow-installed authorities of the region — and are described as preliminary; independent confirmation of the numbers of killed and wounded is absent from the publications.
