The report of the find requires verification

He told aif.ru about this; his words are cited by Gazeta.Ru and Life.ru. According to him, «human bones and some things, rags» were found in the forest near the settlement of Kuturchin in Krasnoyarsk Krai. «I cannot say this is one hundred percent true, but I am inclined to trust this information,» aif.ru quotes him.

What is known and what is still unknown

Life.ru clarifies that the author of the message described the bones as human, but Degterev himself cannot confirm the accuracy of the information. There is no data yet linking the supposed find to the missing family, but an expert examination is expected. Degterev added that he had previously received reports of alleged «traces» of the Usoltsevs, which ultimately had nothing to do with the missing family, and he hopes that checking the new information will allow a definitive conclusion.

Context of the disappearance

Sergey and Irina Usoltsev, together with their five-year-old daughter Arina, went missing on September 28, 2025, having set out on a hike from the settlement of Kuturchin to the Buratinka rock in Krasnoyarsk Krai; the family did not return. Volunteers and the police carried out extensive searches, but no traces of the missing were found; the last major search operations took place in June and July 2026. The investigation considered, among other things, versions of a quarrel during the hike, a sudden disaster as a result of which the family could have become separated, and an attack by a wild animal — earlier a version was put forward that a bear could have attacked the family. The accident version remains the priority, but a criminal nature of the disappearance is also not ruled out; the criminal investigation continues.
