A profile on a dating site
Former traffic police inspector Artur Kositsyn, who served a sentence for a series of assaults on women, has registered on an adult dating site. This is reported by the Telegram channel SHOT CRIME: the 49-year-old man created a profile under the name Artem, listed his sexual preferences, and is taking part in the 'Top-10 Guys' contest. According to the channel, in correspondence with young women he offers intimate meetings for money and no-strings-attached relationships, presents himself as a businessman and the owner of his own company, and also claims to be building a spa complex in Anapa with a 25-meter pool, saunas, and a hammam.
What he does now
Kositsyn currently lives in Novorossiysk, where he is engaged in tourist transportation and runs a car rental business. SHOT CRIME notes that he sometimes arrives at meetings with clients together with his 14-year-old son.
The past: 27 victims and 14 years in prison
Life.ru previously reported that after his release from prison, Kositsyn changed his surname to Samoylov and moved to Novorossiysk. In the early 2000s, he attacked young women, mostly in the stairwells of apartment buildings, threatening them with a service baton into which an awl had been built. The criminal case listed 27 victims and 39 criminal episodes, including rapes, attempted rapes, and death threats; in 2011, the court sentenced him to 14 years in prison.
What is known and what is not
The information about the new profile and correspondence comes from the Telegram channel SHOT CRIME; there is no confirmation from official authorities or comments from Kositsyn himself in the publications. It is unknown whether his registration on the dating site violates any administrative restrictions related to his criminal record — this information is absent from the sources.
