This was reported by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Krasnodar Krai on its channel. Based on the results of the check, officers of the city police department will make a procedural decision.
What the victim claims
According to the woman, she was at a rehabilitation center in Pyatigorsk, where she was forbidden to leave and was held by force. She was later transferred to Armavir, where she spent about four months. She claims that after a choking fit she was taken against her will to an apartment where three men were. In the end, she fell out of a window, and afterwards the girl had her spleen removed and underwent surgeries on her spine and heels.
What the police are investigating
Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances under which the victim sustained her injuries. For now, the circumstances described by the woman are her claims, not established facts: the police have not yet confirmed whether her stay at the center was forced, or how exactly she ended up in the apartment and fell out of the window.
A similar case in Serpukhov
Separately, Life.ru recalls a case previously considered in Serpukhov, in the Moscow region: a man was sentenced there who twice kidnapped his former partner, trying to force her to return to him. The second time, he hired accomplices for 30 thousand rubles and sent the girl to a rehabilitation center under the pretext of treating alcohol addiction. This case is not connected to the inquiry in Armavir, but it illustrates the scheme of forcibly placing a person in a rehabilitation facility.
