The key facts
- The admission campaign at Russian colleges and technical schools will end on December 1, 2026
- The main stage of admission to secondary vocational education institutions ended on August 15
- Additional admission to full-time programs is possible until November 25, and to part-time and correspondence programs until December 1
The admission deadline was announced at a meeting with the president
The admission campaign at Russian colleges and technical schools will end on December 1, 2026. This was announced by Russian Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov at a videoconference meeting between President Vladimir Putin and members of the government. “Let me remind you that the admission campaign at colleges will end on December 1,” the head of the ministry said.
How the admission timeline works
The main stage of admission to secondary vocational education institutions ended back on August 15. However, institutions with vacant places were given the opportunity to continue enrolling applicants. Under the established rules, additional admission to full-time programs may continue until November 25, while documents for full-time and correspondence (part-time and distance) programs are accepted until December 1, provided places remain available. Thus, the deadline announced by the minister concerns only the filling of remaining places, not the entire campaign as a whole.
