Attack repelled with no casualties

Air defense units destroyed four Ukrainian drones over Tula Region. This was reported by the region's governor Dmitry Milyaev on his Telegram channel. According to him, there are no casualties, and «according to preliminary data, no damage to buildings or infrastructure has been recorded.» At the same time, the head of the region warned that the danger of UAV attacks on the region's territory remains, and residents are urged to observe safety measures.

Context: the scale of the overnight raid

The report about Tula Region came against the backdrop of a broader wave of attacks. According to Gazeta.Ru, in the morning the governor of Yaroslavl Region, Mikhail Yevrayev, said that on the night of November 3, 124 drones were destroyed over the region; two employees of an oil refinery were injured in the attack, and damage to cars, private homes and apartment buildings was reported. In total, over the past night, according to the same data, air defense forces destroyed 856 drones over various Russian regions. Life.ru gives a different figure for the day — 13 downed UAVs, and also writes about five drones shot down on approach to Moscow; the administration of Krasnodar reported air raid sirens. The editorial team does not resolve the discrepancy in numbers between the outlets: it may be a matter of different counting periods.

What is known and what remains unclear

The publication provides no information about where the debris fell or possible damage. Unlike Yaroslavl Region, where casualties and damage have been reported, no damage was recorded in Tula Region at the time of the reports.
