What was found and where

In the Chilanzar district of Tashkent, a drug laboratory producing synthetic narcotics was uncovered in a rented apartment in one of the multi-story residential buildings. The State Security Service reported this on its Telegram channel, on the basis of which Gazeta.uz provides the details. According to the agency, a citizen born in 2002 rented the apartment, manufactured synthetic drugs and distributed them using the 'stash drop' method.

Seized items and the criminal case

During a search of the apartment, conducted in the presence of attesting witnesses, drugs packaged in zip bags and intended for distribution were found, along with electronic scales, a mixer, a hair dryer, syringes, 1,000 empty transparent bags and 1,000 empty vials. As material evidence, a total of 3.5 kg of hashish oil, 600 g of hashish, 200 g of marijuana and 8 cookies containing a narcotic substance were seized. A criminal case has been opened against the detainee under Article 276-1 of the Criminal Code (organizing an illegal drug laboratory), which provides for imprisonment from five to ten years; a pre-trial detention measure has been chosen. Sources do not report the fate of other possible participants in the scheme, if there were any.
