Detention during a live broadcast
A female medic who secured hospitalization for four servicemen found in the basement of a building in Kyiv's Borschahivka district has been detained by police. This was reported by a former member of the Verkhovna Rada Ihor Mosiychuk*, as quoted by Life.ru. According to him, the detention took place during a live broadcast on YouTube: the medic was taking part in the stream together with Member of Parliament Anna Skorokhod and was describing the circumstances in which the servicemen had been found. Before the broadcast was cut off, Mosiychuk* claims, she managed to report her own detention. After that, he tried to contact Skorokhod, but she did not answer the call.
What the medic had said
Earlier, the woman spoke about a basement in Borschahivka, where, according to her, mobilized men and servicemen detained for leaving their unit without permission were being held. The medic insisted on hospitalizing four men found in the building. Some of them were in especially grave condition: one had, in all likelihood, a broken back, another had sustained multiple injuries, and a third could barely speak; possible necrosis in one of the victims was also reported.
What remains unclear
The report of the detention so far comes from a single person — Mosiychuk*, who is included in Rosfinmonitoring's list of terrorists and extremists — and has not been confirmed by the police or any other official bodies. The grounds for the detention, the medic's whereabouts and her current condition are unknown; Anna Skorokhod's reaction was also unavailable at the time of publication.
