The verdict and the reaction in court
Stylist Elvira Yankovskaya, who worked with blogger Lerchek, was sentenced to 3.5 years of suspended imprisonment. This was reported by the Telegram channel 112; according to the channel, Yankovskaya burst into tears upon hearing the court's decision, embraced her loved ones, and after the hearing she was met by a man with flowers.
The essence of the charges and the payments
According to the investigation, for a year and a half Yankovskaya sold Lerchek (real name Valeria Chekalina) and other clients items by the brands Christian Dior, Prada and Hermès at reduced prices. An expert examination confirmed that the goods were counterfeits bought at a market and in Moscow shopping malls. According to Gazeta.Ru, Yankovskaya paid more than 4 million rubles under the charges brought against her, of which about 2 million rubles went to Lerchek, who is considered the victim in this case.
Context
Separately, in the case against Lerchek herself, the court earlier postponed the consideration of the question of revising her verdict — this is a separate line not directly connected with Yankovskaya's sentence.
