Detention of the owner of Imarat Development

Marat Khamdamov, owner of the construction company Imarat Development, has been detained under procedural rules as a suspect in a criminal case being handled by the Tashkent City Police Department, Kun.uz reports. The detention came against the backdrop of problems with apartments in the company's projects not being handed over to clients within the deadlines specified in the contracts. On November 1, the investigative department of the Tashkent City Police Department opened a case against the management of Imarat Development LLC under Articles 168 (fraud) and 192-11 (abuse of authority by officials) of the Criminal Code; the company's office is located on Buyuk Avlod Avenue in the Sergeli district.

Mobile radars no longer require a warning sign

The Cabinet of Ministers' resolution on the 'Radar' sign has been amended: mobile radars have been excluded from the mandatory requirement. Previously, from September 1, 2025, the 'Radar' sign was to be installed at the locations of any stationary and mobile speed-control radars, as well as at a distance of 250–500 meters before them. Now the wording has been replaced with 'stationary radar,' and the corresponding amendment has been made to paragraph 5.43 of the traffic rules: the sign is installed only 250–500 meters before sections monitored by stationary radars. This means that drivers will no longer be given advance warning of mobile radars on the roads.

Under the new system, the agency receives an incentive payment of 1.5 million soums for each citizen placed in a well-paid job abroad. Some technical college buildings will be transferred for free lease to train young people in professions and languages. For teachers and experts recruited from abroad, the social tax is set at 1%, and equipment necessary for the educational process is exempt from customs duties.
