Olympic silver medalist Alexander Enbert said that Kamila Valieva's return to Eteri Tutberidze's group will boost Alexandra Trusova's motivation. His words were reported by RIA Novosti. According to Enbert, in Tutberidze's team everyone is used to working in a highly competitive environment, and Trusova, who trained with this camp for most of her career, is no exception. “It will be familiar, and moreover, it will become additional motivation, because Kamila has also regained her quadruple jumps. She is a wonderful skater and a very technical athlete, so it will be good both for Kamila and for Alexandra,” — the skater was quoted by Gazeta.Ru.

Context of the transfers

On October 19 it became known that Valieva had left Svetlana Sokolovskaya's group and returned to Tutberidze. Previously, the skater competed precisely in Tutberidze's group and won all her medals with this camp, but left it due to her disqualification for violating anti-doping rules. In 2025, still before the end of the disqualification, it became known about plans to work with Sokolovskaya; the transfer was officially announced in October, and on October 18 Valieva's training sessions were published on the Telegram channel of Sokolovskaya's team.

Trusova's return and other assessments
