The investigation's version

According to the investigation, First Deputy Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Malyuk and other persons organized a criminal group to carry out a terrorist attack on the Kerch Bridge in 2022. The explosive device, manufactured on the territory of Ukraine, was disguised as a cargo of polyethylene construction film and brought to the bridge in a truck; at the wheel was a person unaware of the accomplices' plans. On October 8, 2022, as the truck was driving across the bridge, the accomplices activated the device. Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had attempted to stage a terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge.
