Office next to a protest site
The office of the Spanish company of blogger Yuri Dud* — Butovo Production SL — in Barcelona turned out to be dangerously close to new street riots, as a result of which the shops in the same building temporarily stopped operating. This was reported by the Telegram channel SHOT, which is cited by Life.ru. According to journalists, on the night before Halloween, participants of the protest movement Blocus planned to gather at the famous Casa Milà — this spot is located just 600 meters from the blogger's company's registered address.
What is known about the Blocus movement
The Blocus movement originated in France as student protests for accessible education, but in Barcelona the protest, as described by Life.ru, quickly boiled down to calls to loot shops. During the first action, about 600 young participants smashed storefronts, set garbage containers on fire and clashed with police; after it, law enforcement detained around 130 people, most of whom were teenagers.
Context: Dud's business in Spain
Earlier, Life.ru wrote that in 2025 Butovo Production SL earned about 106 million rubles, or 1.13 million euros, while revenue did not reach the figures the blogger had in Russia five years ago. The outlet also reported that a process of confiscating Dud's property worth 100 million rubles has been launched in Russia. Yuri Dud is included in the list of terrorists and extremists of Rosfinmonitoring and has been designated a foreign agent by the Russian Ministry of Justice. Sources did not report any damage to the company's office itself — it is only known that it turned out to be next to the riot zone.
