Four drones shot down over the region
Russian air defense forces intercepted and destroyed four drones over the Ulyanovsk region. This was reported by the region's governor Alexei Russkikh on his channel: “On-duty air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 4 enemy UAVs over the territory of our region. There are no casualties and no property damage.”
Where the debris was found and what residents are advised to do
According to the head of the region, the crash sites of the downed drones were found in three districts — Terengulsky, Melekessky and Kuzovatovsky. The governor stressed that approaching the debris is life-threatening: residents are advised not to touch suspicious objects and to observe safety measures.
Previous attack on the region
This is not the first such attack in recent times: it was previously reported that 16 drones were destroyed over the Ulyanovsk region. At that time, according to Alexei Russkikh, debris from the downed drones was found in the Novospassky, Nikolayevsky, Cherdaklinsky and Sengileyevsky districts, and that attack also ended without casualties or property damage. Thus, over a short period, the debris fall sites have already covered seven different territories of the region.
