According to 74.ru citing the Ministry of Social Relations of the Chelyabinsk Region: 'A relative from the side of the deceased mother is ready to take him. At present, we are awaiting the woman's arrival in the region.' The issue of transferring the infant into guardianship needs to be resolved with the involvement of social services.
What is known about the tragedy
On October 28, the bodies of a 38-year-old woman, her 15-year-old daughter, and a 39-year-old man were discovered in an apartment on Olimpiyskaya Street. According to the preliminary version of the investigation, an employee of a private security company shot his wife and stepdaughter before taking his own life. Two boys managed to escape by running out of the apartment to the neighbors; the infant was later carried out by police officers. It was later revealed that the suspected murderer returned from a business trip and failed to hand over his service weapon.
Children under medical supervision
Currently, the infant is in hospital together with his two older brothers. All three have been provided with necessary care, medical and psychological assistance following the tragedy. Meanwhile the biological father of the two older brothers has already set off for Chelyabinsk to take them — thus, according to available information, relatives from both sides are taking care of the fate of all surviving children.
