Five cancelled concerts and talk of a curse
Larisa Dolina has removed five performances scheduled through the end of 2026 from her touring schedule, in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Kolomna, Bryansk and Obninsk. Life.ru reports this, citing the singer herself, who at a presentation of her new music video complained about a wave of criticism: “I have been hated on so much right now that I feel as if someone has put a curse on me.” According to the outlet, the November show in Saint Petersburg has been cancelled, while the singer’s representative Sergei Pudovkin had previously described the other four concerts as postponed to 2027 due to the preparation of a musical program and the new album “The Last Farewell.”
A pause on her own initiative
Dolina herself, according to Life.ru, confirmed that she decided to take a break on her own initiative: she has reasons for temporarily stepping away from touring, but has not yet revealed them. The singer intends to rest and prepare a new program, with which she hopes to return to touring in 2027. She is not halting her creative work entirely — she continues to perform in the productions “Sweeney Todd, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street” and “Figaro” at the Taganka Theatre. The outlet also cites a comment from tarot reader Alexander Omen, who linked the singer’s string of misfortunes to “the displeasure of higher powers”; this is the assessment of an invited expert, not a confirmed fact.
