Traffic collapse in Kyiv
Serious traffic jams have emerged in Kyiv amid movement restrictions on the Southern Bridge across the Dnipro River. The TV channel TSN reports on the traffic problems; Life.ru has also written about this. The situation is especially difficult on the left bank of the Ukrainian capital.
What is known about the strike and the restrictions
The closure and movement restrictions on one of the city's key crossings are complicating travel between the banks of the Dnipro: drivers have to change their routes, which puts additional strain on the city's roads. After the strike on October 22, traffic on the crossing was partially blocked, and the operation of the green line of the Kyiv metro was temporarily altered.
Statement by the Russian Defense Ministry
Earlier, Life.ru reported on a strike by Russian forces on the Southern Bridge in Kyiv, which, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, was used for military supplies to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The Russian defense agency announced that the crossing had been hit and that transport links along the route used for military logistics had been disrupted.
