The key facts
- The HONOR X9e Pro presentation took place in Tashkent in the format of interactive zones with water, impact and temperature tests
- The smartphone received an 11,000 mAh battery based on fourth-generation silicon-carbon technology
- The manufacturer claims more than three days of operation without recharging and HONOR SuperCharge fast charging of up to 80 W
Tests instead of a regular presentation
The presentation of the HONOR X9e Pro smartphone took place in Tashkent on the 48th floor of the Piramit Tower complex, Kun.uz reports. The organizers abandoned the usual showcase format and instead set up interactive zones where guests could personally test the device's capabilities.
Water, impacts and soup
At the entrance, guests were greeted by an aquarium with smartphones submerged in water: visitors could take a device out of the water themselves and check that it still worked. In other zones, the durability of the body against mechanical stress was demonstrated — devices were dropped from a height, subjected to impacts and shot at with a paintball gun. Special attention was given to temperature tests: the devices were checked at high and low temperatures to demonstrate the durability characteristics claimed by the manufacturer. Among the most unusual experiments was slicing vegetables on a smartphone, after which the device was placed in a pot of soup. After the interactive part, an official presentation took place, where guests were told about the design, technical specifications and features of the new device.
The battery as the main highlight
The main focus of the presentation was the battery. The HONOR X9e Pro is equipped with an 11,000 mAh battery built on fourth-generation silicon-carbon technology. According to the manufacturer, in the specified usage scenarios the smartphone can run for more than three days without recharging. This capacity is aimed at users who spend long hours away from home, use navigation and the camera, watch videos and need to stay connected all day. The device supports HONOR SuperCharge fast charging with up to 80 W of power, as well as 27 W wired reverse charging, which allows charging other compatible devices. It is worth noting that the battery life figures and specifications are provided by the manufacturer — no independent measurements are included in the publication.
