Missile alert in Voronezh Oblast

On the morning of October 26, a missile alert was declared across the entire territory of Voronezh Oblast. The warning was issued at 05:47 Moscow time, regional governor Alexander Gusev reported. Residents were urged to take shelter immediately: those at home were advised to move to windowless rooms with solid walls — for example, a hallway, bathroom, or pantry — while people outdoors were told to take cover in the nearest building.

Air defense operations and official recommendations

“Air defense duty forces continue to repel a drone attack in the skies over Voronezh and its suburbs. Go inside and stay away from windows,” Gusev wrote on his Telegram channel. Thus, alongside the missile alert, drone activity is being recorded in the region, which air defense forces are countering.
