A dialogue platform for more than three decades

The Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) has served for more than thirty years as a platform for dialogue between countries with different political and economic priorities. As Euronews reports, today its 28 member states are looking for ways to strengthen cooperation in regional security, economic development and in responding to new challenges.

Since Azerbaijan took over the chairmanship of CICA in 2024, discussions have focused on strengthening the organization's institutional framework and giving cooperation a more practical orientation.
