Incidents in Quneitra province

According to the channel, an abandoned house was demolished in the town of Hamidiya in the northern countryside of Quneitra province.

Context

The incidents come against the backdrop of repeated Israeli military incursions into southern Syria. After the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime in December 2024, Israel carried out repeated incursions, declaring the 1974 disengagement agreement void and occupying the demilitarized buffer zone. Damascus has repeatedly demanded the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Syrian territory.
