More Than 300,000 Revoked Visas

The United States has revoked more than 300,000 visas since Donald Trump's return to the presidency, a senior State Department official said on Tuesday. Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs Mora Namdar wrote on the social network X: '300,000+ visa revocations, and the number is growing. Our message to visa holders is simple: respect our laws or lose the privilege of traveling to the United States.' She added that under the president and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, protecting the country and the American people comes first.

Statements by Officials

Namdar also attached to her post a White House publication stating that the Trump administration is revoking visas faster than any administration in history. State Department spokesman Tommy Pigott said on X that the revocations concerned foreigners engaged in illegal activities or posing a threat to national security. 'We do not tolerate foreigners who are here on visas breaking the law, committing fraud, or undermining our national security,' he said.
