New towing procedure

Russia's Ministry of Transport has prepared a bill under which a car can be towed only after its owner receives a digital notification. This was announced at a plenary session of the State Duma by the head of Rosaviatsia and candidate for the post of Minister of Transport Dmitry Yadrov, as reported by TASS, citing his words.

Unified digital platform

According to Yadrov, the key idea of the initiative is that towing will begin only after the vehicle owner is sent the corresponding digital notification. In addition, the document envisages the creation of a unified digital platform for collecting fees, which will ensure the exchange of information about car towing and the sending of notifications to owners. Yadrov noted that if the bill is supported, the implementation of such a system will make the towing procedure more convenient for citizens.
