Guilherme on Dzyuba: 'a star of our football'
Former goalkeeper of Moscow Lokomotiv and the Russia national team Marinato Guilherme said in an interview with RIA Novosti that striker Artem Dzyuba should always play football. 'Naturally, Artem is a star of our football. It would be good if such great people had the opportunity to play forever. But, of course, sooner or later the end of the career must come,' said Guilherme.
The situation with continuing his career
Dzyuba announced his departure from Togliatti's Akron on May 23. According to the publication, as of today there are no options for continuing his career that would suit the footballer. The player himself would like to play one more season, but on one condition — it must be a Moscow team. Of the capital's clubs, only Rodina showed interest in him, which did not satisfy the player.
The striker's career
Dzyuba began his career at Moscow Spartak, then played for Tom, Rostov, Tula Arsenal, Moscow Lokomotiv and Turkish Adana Demirspor. He achieved his greatest success at St. Petersburg Zenit, where he became Russian champion four times, won the national Cup twice and the Super Cup four times.
