Alert in 17 regions of four districts

From the start of October 21, missile danger or the threat of drone attacks was declared in 17 regions of Russia, Life.ru reports. The warnings affected four federal districts. The largest number of regions in the alert zone turned out to be in the Central Federal District: signals were declared in the Bryansk, Voronezh, Ivanovo, Kostroma, Kursk, Kaluga, Lipetsk, Oryol, Ryazan and Smolensk regions. At the time of publication, the danger regime continued to operate in the Bryansk, Smolensk, Kostroma, Ivanovo and Ryazan regions.

Volga region, North-West and south

In the Volga Federal District, the threat of drone attacks was declared in Mordovia, the Nizhny Novgorod region and Chuvashia; in Mordovia and the Nizhny Novgorod region, the warning lasted more than seven hours. In the North-West, alerts due to drones were introduced in the Novgorod and Pskov regions. In the south of the country, the danger regime was declared in Krasnodar Krai and the Republic of Crimea.

Victims and damage in the DPR

According to Life.ru, over the past day, as a result of Ukrainian drone attacks in the DPR, one woman was killed and two more people were wounded. The victim of the strike was a woman born in 2005 who died in the Tsentralno-Gorodskoy district of Horlivka. Two men were wounded in the Voroshilovsky district of Donetsk. The attacks also led to damage to residential buildings and civilian facilities: over the past day, 24 residential buildings and 16 infrastructure facilities were damaged in the republic.
