Ministry of Health: The Measles Epidemiological Situation Is Stable
The press service of the Ministry of Health responded to reports of 290 suspected measles cases in Tashkent and that more than 10 thousand people who had contact with the sick were placed under registration. 'At present, the epidemiological situation regarding measles in Tashkent and throughout the country is stable. There are no grounds for concern,' the statement said. The ministry noted that the figures circulating on social media are a cumulative indicator for the past nine months of 2026, so interpreting them as data for a short period or the current day is incorrect. According to the ministry, measles incidence is 40% lower than in the same period of 2025.
