The Central Bank of Uzbekistan announced the official exchange rates of foreign currencies against the soum effective October 20. The US dollar fell by 11.18 soums to 12,044.72 soums. The euro dropped by 47.51 soums to 13,525.02 soums. The Russian ruble, on the contrary, rose by 1.3 soums to 145.46 soums.

Decline after a prolonged rise

According to Daryo.uz, the decline in the dollar rate came after ten consecutive days of growth. Earlier, the dollar had gained 44.25 soums and stood at 12,055.90 soums.
