Operation in Qibray

An operation aimed against the illegal trafficking of narcotic substances was carried out by officers of the State Security Service department for the city of Tashkent together with the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the city of Tashkent, Kun.uz and Zamon.uz report.

What and where was found

A land plot in Qibray district of Tashkent region, granted on long-term lease for agricultural purposes to a citizen born in 1986 who had previously been convicted, was inspected. In two containers located at the edge of the plot, in the presence of attesting witnesses, a total of 7 kilograms of marijuana stored in dry form, an IZH-38 brand air rifle, as well as three 12 mm caliber cartridges were found. All items were seized as material evidence.
