Apple iPhone Duo
First on the list is the Apple iPhone Duo — the first foldable iPhone. When folded, it is comparable in size to a passport, and when unfolded it turns into a small tablet. On the large screen you can watch movies, open websites side by side, and during a FaceTime video call simultaneously show yourself and your surroundings. Apple developed a special nano-textured polymer coating for the display and placed more than 100 small parts in the hinge. According to early users, the crease on the screen is almost imperceptible.
Dyson CameraJet
Dyson combined an electric toothbrush and an oral irrigator, installing a miniature camera at the tip of the device. It detects gaps between teeth and food residue, and directs the water jet during brushing precisely to those spots. Through the app, you can inspect your oral cavity or send a video recording to your dentist. The battery and brushing attachments are replaceable.
1X Neo robot
The Neo humanoid home robot from 1X Technologies weighs about 30 kilograms but can lift loads heavier than 68 kilograms and carry about 25 kilograms. It independently brings items from other rooms, tidies up the table, and helps put away groceries. For more complex tasks — such as folding laundry and unloading the dishwasher — Expert Mode is still required, in which the robot is remotely operated by a 1X employee. While working, the device learns new skills. The price of such an assistant is $20,000.
