Blackpool, Milton Keynes, Sheffield and Wrexham make the shortlist for UK City of Culture 2029
Four cities are competing for the title of UK City of Culture 2029. The winner will be announced in May and will receive £10 million to host a year of cultural events; each shortlisted city will already receive at least £125,000 from the government.
