UN Human Rights Chief expressed concern over mass protests in Europe
UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk expressed concern over human rights violations amid mass protests in Albania, Belgium, France, Italy and Portugal. He condemned acts of violence, reported cases of excessive use of force by police, including against children, and called on states to engage in dialogue with protesters and conduct independent investigations.
