Dubai Police issued nearly 50,000 fines for expired vehicle registration in the first ten months of 2026
In the first ten months of 2026, Dubai Police issued 48,950 fines to drivers with expired vehicle registration. The peak came in January — 6,977 fines, the minimum in May (984). Brigadier Juma Salem bin Suwaidan reminded drivers of the penalties: a fine of up to 500 dirhams, four black points, and a seven-day vehicle impoundment.
