Scientists linked drinking six to eight cups of tea a day with an 11% lower risk of vascular disease
A study of data from nearly 486,000 adults in China showed that regular tea drinkers had, on average, an 11% lower risk of vascular disease. The most pronounced effect was observed with six to eight cups a day. Black tea showed a more consistent association than green tea, while very hot tea was associated with an increased risk.
