Irina Slutskaya responded to Ilya Averbukh's remarks about her daughter's unreadiness for ice shows
Ilya Averbukh stated that the daughters of famous figure skaters, including Irina Slutskaya's daughter Varvara, are not yet ready to take part in ice shows, and suggested returning to the conversation in about ten years. Slutskaya objected: Varvara is already 16, participation in Averbukh's shows was never in their plans, and the priority is a sports career.
