Central Election Commission hands State Duma mandate to former head of Tuva Sholban Kara-ool
At its meeting, the Central Election Commission handed the vacant State Duma ninth-convocation deputy mandate to Sholban Kara-ool (United Russia), who previously served as deputy speaker of the lower chamber and headed Tuva in 2007–2021. The mandate became vacant after Irina Eliferova's powers were terminated.
