Brussels police clear building of Free University of Brussels occupied by students
On 7 November, Belgian police evicted students, under a court order, from building P1 on the Solbosch campus of the Free University of Brussels (ULB), which had been occupied since 22 October. Rector Annemie Schaus cited the crossing of 'fundamental boundaries' as the reason: vandalism, entry into offices and calls to violence. The protesters reported arrests.
