Kremlin says preparations have begun for a trilateral meeting of Putin, Xi and Trump
Yuri Ushakov, foreign policy aide to the Russian president, said that Moscow, Beijing and Washington are in principle ready for a trilateral summit and that preparations have already begun. A bilateral meeting between Putin and Trump on the sidelines of the APEC summit in Shenzhen on November 18–19 has not yet been agreed, but is considered possible. Russia is also ready to resume talks in the Russia–USA–Ukraine format after November 4.
