England youth team left the pitch at the World Cup in Baku over a racism allegation
At the FIFA youth World Cup in Baku, England's under-15 team refused to finish their match against Ireland after one of its players said an opponent had called him a 'monkey'. The match was stopped at 4:1 in Ireland's favour in the final minute. FIFA has opened an investigation, while Russia's team, meanwhile, advanced to the knockout stage from first place in Group AE.
