Waymo Enters Canada: Company's Robotaxis to Begin Testing in Toronto
Alphabet's Waymo has been approved to participate in Ontario's automated vehicle pilot program. The vehicles will first drive through Toronto under manual control to build HD maps, followed by tests with a safety operator and, eventually, a commercial service.
