Khabarovsk convicts organizers of smuggling Russian timber worth 3 million rubles to China
The Khabarovsk district court sentenced a citizen of China to 5.5 years in a penal colony for smuggling more than 450 cubic meters of birch sawlogs, and his Russian accomplice to a fine of 450,000 rubles. Both denied their guilt; the verdict has not yet entered into force.
