Uzbekistan tested 558 product items: 73 found to have defects
The Competition Committee of Uzbekistan reported that in the first eight months of 2026, accredited laboratories tested 558 product items across 60 types. Violations of quality and technical requirements were found in 73 items. Materials have been sent to the Technical Regulation Agency and the Sanitary and Epidemiological Wellbeing Committee for product withdrawal.
