October 2026 in Moscow matched the temperature record of 2020
According to the MSU Meteorological Observatory, the average monthly temperature in Moscow in October 2026 was +9.5 °C — 3.5 degrees above the climate norm and exactly at the level of the October 2020 record. Both months became the warmest in the history of observations since 1780.
