TikTok launches a standalone TikTok Shop app in four Asian countries
TikTok has quietly released a standalone TikTok Shop app in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines. The app offers personalized recommendations, shopping via livestreams and short videos, exclusive discounts and built-in payments. The company has not commented on expansion plans, including the US.
