Turkey has 29 Cittaslow 'slow cities' — more than anywhere else in the world
Of the 310 cities worldwide awarded Cittaslow status, 29 are in Turkey. Euronews describes the country's 'slow cities': Seferihisar, Akyaka, Gökçeada, Şavşat, Gerze, Vize, Eğirdir and Ahlat — from the Aegean coast to the shores of Lake Van.
