Poland declared Lviv regional council deputy Sheremet a persona non grata over the UPA year
Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said he signed a motion to add Lviv regional council deputy Svyatoslav Sheremet to the list of undesirable persons. According to him, Sheremet was the author of the decision to declare 2027 the year of Roman Shukhevych, the UPA and Oleg Olzhich. The Lviv regional council's decision earlier provoked a sharp reaction from Warsaw against the backdrop of already cooled relations with Kyiv.
