German angler catches a 292 cm catfish in Poland — possibly the same one as a year ago
34-year-old Oliver Schäfer from Germany, together with his partner Kevin Kremers from the Netherlands, caught a catfish measuring 292 cm at a tournament in Rybnik, Poland. The fish was measured and released according to the competition rules. Participants believe it is the same catfish that was caught by a Polish team in October 2025 with the same length.
